HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT
Back in 2020, with more requests for her art to be reproduced, Jessie Baca reached out to Mary Helt of MaryInk to create a custom printed textiles with her artwork on it. It was a priority to have a female owned business assist her with printing and for the process to be hand-done.
This was the birth of the “MexiModern” brand, showcasing modern folk-art textiles and handmade goods. Collections ranging from candles to puzzles to stickers to notecards to mobiles have been designed from Jessie’s original murals.
